The FLS-30 series are new generation compact multi-wavelength laser source. It offers excellent stable light with accurate three wavelengths for field and laboratory use. It can transmit through a wavelength-identification digital encrypted protocol to enable FibreOptica's FPM-2x power meter series to recognize the wavelength and automatically shift to a proper calibrated wavelength. The feature can omit the need of communication between two users and hence decrease the potential test errors. It is perfect for testing PONs (Passive Optical Networks) with its built-in wavelength of 1310/1490/1550nm commonly used in FTTx and complies with ITU-T G.983 and G.984 recommendation and IEEE 802.3ah standard.
